What Did Kim Do?
Kims’s Pinterest boards feature classic elements and luxurious standalone bathtubs. However, they inclined more toward a modern interpretation of traditional layouts. It became apparent that the solution lies in a transitional design style, where modern commodities and functionality complement vintage fixtures and accents. Creating a balanced aesthetic that feels equally timeless and modern results in a luxurious mix of old-world charm and current trends.
Final Design
Contrasting dark blue counters now give this master a dynamic look. At the same time, the wood laminate floor, woven basket, and beige ottoman add a natural balance to its rich finishes.
That being said—certainly sophisticated, the finishes chosen for this feel high-end but cozy. The proposed layout also ensures there is enough space for her routines, Which is exactly as desired.
Since she wanted to see the initiative in her master bath remodel, we created very distinct proposal. Proposing a fresh and cool vibe for Kim’s master bathroom, balancing modern sophistication with timeless charm. Her concept revolved around a soothing gray & white color palette, enhanced by marble-look wall tiles in the shower and an intricate floor pattern.
Initial Design
Although similar, the original bathroom layout felt far inferior and quite cluttered. It was not so much due to the insufficient storage as it was because of an unbalanced proportion and aesthetics. And that is precisely where the new, more thoughtful luxury master bathroom design excels.
Enhancing Comfort and Livability
The final plan effectively layers additional light sources. Placing vanity lights just above a mirror was a great way to enhance the illumination of a small space. Additionally, the predominantly white wallpaper next to the bathroom window bounces natural light into the room.
One of the many stunning focal points in this master bath remodel is the shower. It captivates the eye with a zigzag, polished marble mosaic accent wall.
No nook or cranny was overlooked in this online master bathroom interior design. The enclosed toilet WC feels chic with its rustic open wood shelves and tactile decor.
